Card for all Occasions

Nothing is permanent in this world except for change. Cliche as it may, let's face it, that age old adage mirrors the truth in our daily existence. We should not resist change. Change is good, it gives us room for improvement, innovation and eventually progress.

Although majority of us sees the bad side of the increasing population, some creative industry sees it as a challenge. It gives them more clients with diverse opinions and views that they have to please. One of these creative industry are the greeting card companies. They are now working full force on coming up with different card designs that would continuously amaze and touch people from all walks of life.

At the same time, different companies are now riding on having an occasion to zoom their product's sales and revenue. Take for instance, when a famous chocolate company campaigned on the day where everyone will show their gratitude and give thanks. Of course, subtly, they would really want the world in a day to say thank you by buying their product and sharing it to others. But then again, above all of these propaganda started by many big companies in starting new occasions, the main benefector of which would always be the greeting card companies.

Apart from the increasing patrons and occasions comes also a great demand. People are now looking for more ways than one to express their thoughts and feelings to others. Time will come that apparently a two-fold greeting card will no longer be enough. People will look for more witty and innovative presentation of their good old greeting cards.

This is where our musical greeting cards and oddly-shaped greeting cards enter. And of course, who could miss the greeting cards that could double as your good old sturdy bookmark or post card. And the list goes on. Indeed, greeting card companies are getting the tricks of the trade when it comes to maintaining a standing in this seemingly very thoughtful industry.

Now, we have all sorts of cards for all occasion and I don't think it is solely a money making mechanism. It is about spreading the love, knowing that someone cares and making a difference. We will never know when that much needed card containing a message of cheer, glee and love could actually save someone's life. We can really never tell.
